A big shout out to Marcus who helped me navigate my Smart and Final experience flawlessly including finding the 2nd to last crumbled blue cheese! We even came up with a funny name together to decribe what i was looking for (crumbly) . Great customer service, good pricing. Peter and I will be back!

Marcus is your best employee! Every time I have been to this store, Marcus is helping absolutely everyone, including me. He is helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat. Today, while he was in the parking lot I personally witnessed 2 customers from being hit by other cars and Marcus stopped both cars in separate incidents and I am here to tell you that he saved 2 customers in a matter of 2 minutes!!! Please give him the praise he deserves. He is one of the main reasons I shop at this particular store.

The store is great! They are very clean, the employees are great, always greeting customers when they come in to the store. Every time I go into the store either for work purposes or personal purposes, they always greet you with a "HELLO" or a "WELCOME"... I also want to give a shout out to Ruby and Marcus!!! Great job guys!

Best employee ever. My wife and I met Marcus, who in my humble opinion, should be fast tracked to manager asap. We've been shopping here ever since they opened, way back. Marcus showed us how to use the Smart and Final app and showed us areas/sections of the store that we regularly bypass. He took the time, listened to our lines/dislikes in food and toured us around the areas that would be of greatest Interest to our likes. The knowledge Marcus had of the store and its products were truly impressive. His insights were of great value to both my wife and myself. I was a retail manager for over a decade and can tell you firsthand that Marcus is Indeed management material.

I was in this week for my weekly purchases. I was exhausted and my face must've said it all while I was waiting in line to check out. This gentleman by the name of Marques was so kind and helped ring me and others up to help the other cashier. His personality was so friendly and happy! He even made me smile by looking at my items and saying "I'm guessing your total is going to be $52.19" I interacted by guessing a different number. To my surprise he was on point. Just a few cents off. He said $52.10. And my total was $52.19! I appreciate a person who is happy and positive but also know the merchandise! Thank you for your generosity Marques! Keep on shining. I have been coming to Smart and Final for 6 years and am grateful we have them in our city. I would like to give a big shout out to Marcus. He has helped me countless times over the years and I have felt that he genuinely cares about helping the guest. Each time he has helped me he has shown that the importance of my needs are equally important to him. Most of the time I go there for bulk purchases and a majority of the time I have needed help Marcus has been there to save the day. He has recognized many times I have needed help and offered before I could ask. Most places I have been to will not offer to help with some of the bulk purchases, but he has helped me on numerous occasions with a smile. I'm talking hundreds of bags of ice, pallets of water, other bulk paper supplies and he is mindful to keep the goods from being damaged. Wheb We were unable to find specialty items he didn't just tell me they didn't have it, he helped my to call another store that to make sure they had it. He is the epitome of great service. ​ I love going to this store. It's a clean place that has just about anything you need at a good price, but its people like Marcus make it easy to make it my first stop whenever I need something.

This review is predominantly due to the excellent customer service & care that Marcus, store employee, displays. He is so courteous & helpful especially with ensuring products are in stock for my catering company when I need them. I truly appreciate his efforts. The man loves his job & it shows. In my opinion, he deserves a promotion and a raise! Thank you Marcus for your hard work! Can you please also ensure you always have dry ice in stock? It may not be your department but it is out often when I need it.

They have such great customer service. The guy who wears the Somalian beefs around his neck, is so helpful. We were looking for borax. He comes to us asks, " do you need help? Any questions? Then he proceeded to find the products. And we needed his help because my disability prevents me from reaching higher shelves. he was right there. Thank you so much Smart and Final
